Hi All
We experimented last week with live classes for 6th Years and it went very well.
We have now made our plans for the next 5 weeks:
– Week 1: (Tomorrow) Monday 27th April – Friday 1st May
- 1st and 5th Years will meet their teacher online in live classrooms for one class per subject (timetable attached)
- TYs will meet Ms Casey online live and will work on ePortfolios
- 6th Years continue live classes as you did in the previous week
– Week 2: Monday 5th May – Friday 8th May
- 2nd and 3rd Years will meet their teachers in live classrooms for one class per subject (Timetable attached)
- TYs work on their ePortfoios
- 6th Years continue live classes as you did in the previous week
– Week 3: Monday 11th May – Friday 15th May
- 1st/2nd/3rd/5th Years will complete Google classroom work/assignments given by teachers and this work will replace your normal “Summer Exam”.
- TYs work on their ePortfoios
- 25% of the mark at the end will be given based on your participation with the Online Classes over the last month and the next month.
- 6th Years continue live classes as you did in the previous week
– Week 4: Monday 18th May – Friday 22nd May
- 1st/2nd/3rd/5th Years will complete Google classroom work/assignments given by teachers and this work will replace your normal “Summer Exam”.
- 6th Years continue live classes as you did in the previous week
– Week 5: Monday 25th May – Friday 29th May
- 1st/2nd/3rd/TY/5th Years will receive feedback on their Summer Assessment.
- 6th Years continue live classes as you did the previous week.
So basically:
- The next two week you will work on study/new topics with each teacher
- The following two weeks after that you will be doing Summer Assessments (like Summer Exams but not as long)
- In the last week you will receive feedback on how you did.

1T = 1 Taylor
1M = 1 Maude
1N = 1 Nagle
5th Years are in Blue writing.
TYs are in Green.
6th Years are in Red.
