What is VsWare?
VsWare is the Management Information System that we use in Presentation Community College. It is our primary means of communication with parents/guardians. Each parent/guardian has a unique login, with which they are issued upon enrolling their child in the school. Parents/guardians create their own password. Please let us know if you have forgotten your login by emailing [email protected] and we can provide you with it. You can access VsWare via a browser or on mobile devices by downloading the VsWare App. We will never give your child your login details and we ask you to do the same.
Parent login details for VsWare are strictly for communication between school and parents/guardians.
When you log in to your VsWare parent account, it is important that you engage with the following functions:
- Attendance: In accordance with the Education Welfare Act 2002, parents/guardians are required to write a note of explanation for their child’s absence. These notes should be uploaded to VsWare, via the attendance function.
- Behaviour: The “Behaviour” function on VsWare provides an means for teachers to communicate with parents/guardians regarding students’ behaviour for learning. Parents/guardians are advised to monitor these notes on a regular basis.
- Assessment: The school issues reports to parents/guardians twice a year. These reports include important information about your child’s learning in all their subjects. These are available is the “Assessment” section when you log in to your VsWare parent account.
- Notifications: On a regular basis, the school needs to share information with parents, such as details of a school trip, or information about school closure days, etc. It is important that you keep up to date with school activities by regularly checking your VsWare parent account for notifications that pertain to your child.
