Dear Parents/Guardians,
We would like to thank Ms. Mulderrig, the College Principal, for her continuous support and for the use of the college premises for our meetings.
At Presentation Community College, Terenure, there is a lively and active Parents Association. All parents are automatically members of the Association once they have a child at the school. It is led by a dedicated committee that meets approximately 6 times a year. The Parents Association endeavours to foster co-operation between parents, staff and school management and it organises fundraising events, discusses how to support the school community and arranges social gatherings. You don’t have to join the committee to get involved.
Some of our recent fundraising initiatives have included: The Annual October Sponsored Walk, Tesco tokens, A Table Quiz and Raffle and second-hand uniform sales. We have supported the school in diverse ways by funding student bursaries and improving the school’s facilities and resources and providing refreshments at many of the school’s events.
If you would like to take an active role, we always love to welcome new members – you can get as involved as you like – be on the committee, volunteer to help at our
events, donate a prize, share new ideas for fundraising. contact us at [email protected] with the subject FAO: Parents’ Association.
The AGM is held early in the school year in September/October and new members are always welcome. Parents are encouraged to attend the AGM and become involved in their children’s school community. If you would like to become involved or know more about our work, please email us.
DONATIONS
The Parents Association asks for a voluntary annual donation towards their activities in supporting the school. Please follow this link to contribute. Any amount is welcome, but we suggest €10 per child or €15 for more than one child.
