28 February 2018 – Statement from the Department of Education & Skills
Given the disruption to transport and the safety risks arising, most particularly in relation to the ability to get home safely before blizzard like conditions hit Munster and Leinster, all schools, third level institutions, colleges and centres of further education in red areas will be closed tomorrow and Friday.

Internet Safety – Talks for Parents
The college is organising a talk for parents/guardians of 1st and 2nd year students on the topic of internet safety and social media to take place on the evening of Monday 12th March. A letter is being given to students today in relation to this.
This has been arranged in conjunction with the Community Garda from Terenure Garda Station.

16th Jan – School closed
The College is closed for students on Tuesday 16th January due to staff in service for the new Junior Cycle Programme

1st Year Option Choices
First Year option forms have been distributed to students.
Option forms are due to be handed in to the main office by Friday 15th December.
The book list is available under ‘the Information for Parents’ tab. Parents/guardians are asked not to purchase books for the optional subjects until the school confirms your child’s subjects.
School Open – 7th December
The College was closed on Monday 2nd October to facilitate whole staff in-service on the introduction of the new Junior Cycle.
The second closure for JCT in-service will now take place on Tuesday 16th January 2018 and not Thursday 7th December 2017 as previously notified. There will be no school for students on this day.
School will take place as normal on the 7th December.
Mid Term Reports
Mid Term reports have been posted (Monday 21st)
Included with this report is a form to be returned to main office to allow us setup access to VSWare for parents. Please return this form to the main office as soon as possible. TY students will be given this form to bring home for completion.
